Miramar Cultural Center has more to offer than live shows.
Outside, you’ll find public art, garden areas, and the MCC Artscape near the lake.
The gardens also feature murals that use augmented reality (AR). This technology adds digital images when you view the artwork through a device.
If you usually visit for concerts or shows, why not return during the day?
Take a walk around the grounds and enjoy the art. You might notice something you missed on your last visit.
It’s also a good spot for anyone who enjoys art or taking photos.
Check the center’s website for visitor details and access to the outdoor areas.

Looking for a quiet place to spend part of your weekend?
Pembroke Pines has coffee shops worth exploring, including Haraz Coffee House.
Haraz serves Yemeni-style coffee and a range of specialty drinks.
Yemeni coffee has its own rich history and unique ways of being made. If you’ve never tried it, this could be a good time to explore something new.
Take a look at the menu before you visit. You may find a drink you haven’t seen at your usual coffee shop.
Check the café’s hours and menu before heading out.
You don’t need a full afternoon to enjoy a new local spot. Sometimes a simple coffee stop is enough.
